Special pricing for indie game developers
Reduced rates designed specifically for independent creators
We understand indie developers work with limited budgets. Our Indie Developer Program offers significantly reduced rates specifically for independent game creators.
Get professional legal protection without breaking the bank - 30% off flat fees, $75 consultations, and reduced hourly rates.
The Reality Check
I've talked to hundreds of indie developers over the years. The pattern is always the same: you're building something amazing on a shoestring (or non-existent) budget, and legal fees feel like a luxury you can't afford.
So you either go without protection or use sketchy templates you found online.
Neither option is great.
What We're Doing About It
Our Indie Developer Program provides professional legal services at rates designed specifically for independent game developers working with limited funding.
Program Benefits
Same quality work, pricing that actually makes sense for your budget
Reduced Hourly Rates
$275/hour attorney rates (normally $350–$550/hour)
30% Off All Flat Fee Services
Significant savings on trademarks, contracts, business formation, and all other flat fee services

Dedicated Attorney
Work directly with Jacob Vela, our attorney specializing in indie game clients
These aren't "lite" versions of our services. You get the same quality work with a dedicated attorney who has experience working with clients like you. Just at rates that make more sense for your budget.
Meet Jacob Vela
For this program, indie developers work directly with attorney Jacob Vela. Jacob is the firm's lawyer dedicated to indie clients.
He's passionate about games, understands the indie development grind (he's actually published his own indie game!), and knows how to give you practical advice in terms you can understand.
I've worked with Jacob on several projects and believe he's a great fit for our indie dev clients.

Who Wouldn't Qualify?
While we'd love to offer this discount to everyone, we've got a business to run. This program isn't for you if:
- You have a high-paying full-time job
- You've worked in games before and shipped commercial products
- You have investors or publishers funding you
- You're an established studio with multiple releases
That said, we're happy to discuss custom bundles and payment plan options that make sense for your situation. View our standard pricing or contact us directly.
How It Works
Getting started with the Indie Developer Program is straightforward:
- Review the qualification criteria above to confirm you're eligible
- Schedule your $75 consultation using the form below
- During the consultation, we'll confirm your eligibility and discuss your legal needs
- If we move forward, you'll receive indie pricing on all services

What Indie Developers Say
Real feedback from independent creators we've worked with
He's a consummate professional, highly skilled in his field, attentive and responsive, and provides great counsel. Here's the kicker: I'm an attorney myself. My highest recommendation.
He brought deep expertise, clear communication, and practical solutions that made my game acquisition smooth and stress-free.
We used his services when we signed our very first game to Mattel and have continued to use him for many deals after, both big and small. His pricing is always fair and reasonable.
He demystified many of the legal aspects of development and advised me fairly, even when to do so was to his financial detriment.
What I especially appreciate is that he explains things clearly, provides practical guidance, and keeps the costs reasonable. That is huge for an independent publisher like myself, where every dollar matters.
The speedy and professional communication style has been a breath of fresh air.
I've contacted Zachary to draft me a freelancer game artist contract, he's professional, prepared and trustworthy. 10/10.

Zack helped to incorporate my LLC for my software development business, file trademarks, create custom software development contracts to use with clients, and answer every legal question along the way.
Strebeck is our go to lawyer when it comes to writing and reviewing contracts…He’s incredibly helpful and easy to work with.
His expertise in the legal world of the game industry, good communication skills and support for my business throughout the years has been fantastic.
I've been using Zachary's services for years now and he's been great. Always knowledgeable and happy to help. Highly recommended!

Legal Moves Law Firm is extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and timely. They are always our go to firm.
Very fair pricing, and very fast turnaround time. … The final documents are very 'legible' in plain English, and suited to my situation.
Very communicative and fast. Listened to what I needed and delivered. Above all else, was very transparent.
Up front about expectations and costs.
Consultation covered all my questions and concerns. … Quick and detailed responses despite time difference.
